What a wonderful knit! It is knit mostly in one piece barring the back ribbing and only two tiny bits of seaming! Perfect! It’s like wearing your own private blanket fort! 😉 It’s super snuggly and oversized and a simple, joyful knit to boot.
My version is knit from my own hand dyed yarn, and the colourway is super hard to capture accurately! It’s not so grey as the picture but more of a purple/blue with a bit of grey. 😉 I used my Nyasa Aran base and it’s so warm, squishy and cosy! I love it so much! This is the base I get the most compliments on and a lot of people have told me they’d love a sweater from this. So I made myself one! And I LOVE it! 😀
I really want to make another one of these in grey. I have some Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted in Marble Heather on order to make another and I can’t wait for the yarn to arrive! It’s currently winging it’s way to Oz and I’m super excited! 😀
So, now for the super exciting part; Shannon has generously offered up a copy of the pattern to one of you! If you’d like to be in the running to win a Ravelry download copy of the Veronika Cardigan pattern, head down to the comments and let me know what yarn you would use to make your very own Veronika. Please include your Ravelry username so I can let Shannon know. I can’t wait to see what you pick! The giveaway will be closed on the 15th of August, 2017.
